Formed in 2017 by Kevin Barry, Borderline Natives built momentum through local shows and early single releases before issuing their debut full-length, An Endless Struggle for the Proper State of Mind, in 2021. The band later recorded Welcome To Eastlandia and has toured regionally, playing notable Nashville venues while evolving through several lineup changes (current core members include Kevin Barry, Bobby Groesbeck, and Brandon Funera).
