Formed in 2017, Fake News quickly built a presence on the Australian touring circuit and have supported multiple international touring acts. They released their debut LP Everyday Warrior in 2021, the Time & Place EP in 2024, and the full-length Dead Set in May 2025. The band is noted for energetic live shows and steady festival and club appearances across Australia.
