Started in 2019 as a pop-up by owner Tyler Harp, Harp Barbecue expanded into a standalone restaurant and later relocated to a new brick-and-mortar. The spot earned local and national recognition (including mentions in KC Magazine and Condé Nast Traveler) and announced it would close with final service on May 30, 2026.
