Johnny Blue Skies & the Dark Clouds is the performing alias/billing used by Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Sturgill Simpson. The project released the album Mutiny After Midnight on March 13, 2026 (initially physical-only) and recorded the record at Easy Eye Sound Studios in Nashville. In 2026 Simpson and the Dark Clouds launched the Mutiny for the Masses North American arena tour supporting the release.
