Yubu (Yubu Kazungu) is a Nairobi-born singer-songwriter who splits his musical life between Nairobi and Memphis. He has recorded live at Sun Studio in Memphis, performed at venues such as the New Daisy Theater and Hard Rock Café on Beale Street, and played festivals across Africa including AFRIMA. His releases include the albums On The Run and Bad Case of Love, and he performs with his band The Downhome Blues Gang.
