Starlight Theatre is Kansas City’s historic open-air amphitheater in Swope Park, presenting touring Broadway productions and major concerts since 1950. The city-owned venue seats 7,739 and is operated by the nonprofit Starlight Theatre Association; it sits next to the Kansas City Zoo and functions as a destination venue with a classic under-the-stars atmosphere. Recent improvements under the Uniquely KC campaign include additional paved parking and guest amenities.

RideKC bus Route 18 (Indiana) serves the Kansas City Zoo Red Lot, a short walk to Starlight; additional RideKC routes 21 (Cleveland–Antioch) and 63 (63rd Street) serve the Swope Park area. Rideshare access via the 63rd St entrance is recommended after events.
