About

Located in downtown Kansas City in the Power & Light District, the original Midland Theatre opened in 1927 and has hosted well-known artists throughout its history. Under the new name The Midland Theatre, the venue will continue that tradition and is projected to host more than 125 concerts, family shows, awards shows, corporate and charitable events each year.

Pre-paid add-on parking is offered for most shows in the H&R Block building lot half a block south of the theatre; additional garages and lots are available throughout the Power & Light District.

Public transit

Served by the free KC Streetcar at the 12th & Main stop and multiple RideKC bus routes in the downtown core.
