About

Zhou B Art Center Kansas City is a contemporary arts hub in the restored historic Crispus Attucks School, featuring galleries, a revived auditorium, and more than 40 artist studios. Opened June 1, 2024, it hosts exhibitions, open-studio nights, and private events across spaces like the Timegate Gallery, Spirit Room, and Modern Cave, with a growing sculpture garden. Anchoring the east end of the 18th Street cultural corridor, it helps link the Crossroads Arts District to the historic Jazz District.

Public transit

RideKC 18X East–West Connector stops at 18th & Vine and Walnut & 18th; additional RideKC routes 10, 18, and 71 serve the 18th & Vine/Jazz District. KC Streetcar connections are available via a short bus transfer downtown.
